The 2019 act amendment will expedite citizenship for migrants who arrived in India before December 31, 2014, provided they have experienced “religious persecution or fear or religious persecution” in their country of origin.

These three nations, he claimed, are Islamic.

Since the Central Government announced the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the opposition has been focusing on the Modi administration. Many legal problems that the opposition has brought up are now lingering in the minds of regular people.

Why were Muslims denied rights under the CAA?
Amit Shah explained why Muslims would not be granted Indian citizenship under the CAA. According to Shah, the CAA is a statute that grants citizenship to minorities living in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
These three nations, he claimed, are Islamic. Then how are Muslims supposed to be a minority religion there?

Can Muslims apply for citizenship as well?
Amit Shah also explained why Muslims were left out of CAA. He did, however, add that they may apply for Indian citizenship by constitutional procedures if they still want it.

Will Tamil Nadu, Bengal, and Kerala not implement CAA?
The chief ministers of Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala expressed opposition to the CAA notification upon its release and declared that their states would not permit its implementation. It has been said by Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, and P Vijayan that they will not permit any injustice to be done to the minorities.Shah responded by saying that no state government could revoke the CAA because citizenship is a fundamental issue. All of these opponents are merely making statements because of this.

Shah declared, “I humbly challenge Mamata Banerjee to reveal any provision in this law that even remotely strips someone of their citizenship.”

The rights of tribal people are not in danger.
Shah went on to say that the structure and rights of tribal territories would not be undermined by this law.
He stated that the Act itself has provisions stating that the CAA will not apply in any region covered by the Sixth Schedule or if an Inner Line Permit is in place.
