After the ‘burger controversy’, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) removed its official spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya from the position and relieved him of all party-related duties instantly. The action came as a result of the video showing him eating a burger during the protest under the ‘Sansad Chalo’ campaign against the alleged paper leak of NEET 2026. But before this, he stopped at a restaurant to eat something. He also argued that eating something is completely a personal choice and should not be concluded as a lack of discipline and commitment.

After the surfaced videos, the only thing that became the most discussed aspect of the entire controversy was the remark he made while responding to the allegation: “Am I accountable to anyone for eating a burger?”
