Curriculum Background

Masai School, founded in 2019, has a competitive environment where aspirants land a job after passing through the selection process and going through the rigors of industry-oriented tech courses. Being a career-focused ed-tech startup the school emphasizes skill empowerment of the tech students through its education model that enriches curricula and enhances the chances of employment through multiple partnership arrangements with peers and others in the tech industry. It upskills the tech talent through its Software Development and Analytics courses interwoven with generative AI.

The Masai school primarily offers coding and software development courses, with a focus on students’ preparation for careers in the tech industry. Their flagship program is a Full Stack Web Development course.

In addition, students can also access free self-learning courses in the basics of Web Development, Data Analytics, and Android Development on the Masai dashboard.

The  Masai School, an eminent provider of job-oriented software training solutions,  provides programming, upskilling courses, and training for aspiring software developers.

The school, through its online platform, imparts training in Software Development: Front end and Back end, Full Stack Web Development, Analytics, Database Engineering, and Software Testing and automation Engineering. The school also offers personality development and miscellaneous soft skills for the all-round development of the students.

It lays equal emphasis on project-based training for the students to develop their practical skill set. Hence, students are handed out hands-on projects through simulations which enable them to resolve practical issues associated with an industry.

The Bengaluru-based school offers Job oriented tech courses through their uniquely designed “Pay After Placement” facility whereby students can embark on their tech career by getting enrolled into any of the school’s e-courses without paying an upfront fee. Under this Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) model, students are required to pay their tuition fees only after they get a job at a threshold package as mutually agreed while getting enrolled for the course. Hence, students are asked to pay back their tuition fee only after successful completion of the course which relieves them from all finance-related anxieties. It does not take any upfront fee but asks for a sharing of 15% of their package after graduating from the school and landing a job that provides them with a threshold package of Rs. 5 LPA and above.

The Masai School is well-regarded for its exhaustive, absorptive, and project-based learning approach. The repeat hiring by 70% of such recruiters is a testament to Masai’s impressive and effective pedagogy and industry-relevant curricula.

Collaboration with NSDC for skill-based education

The school, in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), aims to skill India’s youth for tech jobs through an outcome-driven skilling model. The partnership creates a level playing field for private-sector tech jobs through skill-based learning certified by NSDC. The two organizations work towards creating alternatives to the banking loan system for skill-based education which generally acts as a setback for low-income families. The  Masai school is set to roll out scholarships worth INR 10 crore which will benefit 250 aspirants.

It would be easier if the list included the names of the courses, and under it, we can mention what kind of stacks and components they will learn
