Unlike any previous season, IPL 2021 saw two uncapped Indian seamers lead the race for the purple cap. Not even the most seasoned T20 wicket-takers, like Trent Boult, Chris Morris, Rashid Khan, and Yuzvendra Chahal, were expected to pull off such a surprise in this tournament. Among them is Madhya Pradesh’s tall and powerful pacer Avesh Khan, who has taken 14 wickets in 8 games this season.

People typically associate uncapped rulings on the wicket-takers list with exceptionally gifted individuals, but Avesh is one such young man. Four or five years ago was the time when he was acclaimed as the teenage sensation. This blog will examine cricket player Avesh Khan’s journey, including his age, career, statistics, and IPL bowling speed, team, cost, and many other factors. This is the tale of Avesh Khan, the Indore fast-bowler, and his unexpected comeback.

Avesh Khan was raised in a middle-class Indore family, and everyone in the family loved cricket. Ashique Khan, his father, was a huge fan of the game, but because of his financial difficulties, he rarely had the opportunity to watch entire matches. He used to make about 500 rupees a day selling paan at the side of the road. At the age of ten, Avesh Khan began playing tennis ball cricket. Avesh had a remarkable body that allowed him to move quickly with the ball even at a young age. His encouraging uncle advised him to give leather ball cricket a shot, and that was the beginning of his journey to become a professional cricket player. He put a lot of practice into his bowling pace and skills.

The Avesh Khan Bowling Story

His ascent to the top began at the Colts Cricket Club in Indore, where he flourished under Amardeep Pathania’s tutelage. His father was never able to witness his brilliance or performance. He therefore pushed him to focus more on his academics. He did well enough in age-level cricket to be considered for the state team, but not beyond that.

At that point, he learned about the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association’s trials. Avesh realized it was his chance to grab. He was there with five hundred other young hopefuls, hoping to make an impression on national cricket player and former Madhya Pradesh player Amay Khurasia. Remarkably, Avesh Khan was the only person chosen for that trial. As a pace bowler, Avesh Khan expanded his standards under Amay while representing the Madhya Pradesh U16 team.

The Revolution

His outstanding performance in the U16 Vijay Merchant Trophy demonstrated that he is far ahead of every other player his age. Unfortunately, at a pivotal juncture in his career, his father’s employment was lost when the road-widening project compelled the local authorities to remove the paan shop from the roadside. Avesh began to feel the weight of his family’s financial crisis, but he bravely handled the circumstance. He received match earnings, which he never used for personal expenses. 2014 saw his U19 debut, but he didn’t have many chances to impress. The young player’s injury was a major setback because he was unable to get enough opportunities to demonstrate himself during his appearance in the U19 World Cup.

The cricketer Avesh Khan’s slow ascent to fame

This tragic turn of events brought Avesh Khan’s warrior spirit truly to life. At the tender age of 17, he gave his all in training and made his return, straight into the Madhya Pradesh Ranji Trophy side. In just five games, he claimed fifteen wickets. Along with Ishan Kishan, Avesh was included in the very next U19 World Cup team. He and Khaleel Ahmed made up a formidable pace duo. Avesh ended as India’s top wicket taker with 12 wickets from 6 matches, redespite the fact that India lost to the West Indies in the tournament final.

His victory:

Avesh Khan remains a strong performer on the home circuit. He claimed 37 wickets in the Ranji season of 2018–19, including a ten-wicket haul. However, until an Indian bowler proves himself on the biggest stage, none gets the spotlight. Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Avesh Khan in 2017.
