Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Live: On Friday, a bomb went off in this well-known restaurant in the city, injuring nine people. It has been determined that the explosion was not caused by the initial suspicion of a gas leak, so authorities have launched a thorough investigation that takes into account multiple perspectives.

During Friday’s busy lunch hour, a large explosion at Bengaluru’s well-known Rameshwaram café injured at least nine people. The injured have been transferred to different hospitals for treatment. Among them were seven clients and two employees, according to the officials. Police have sent forensic teams and a bomb disposal squad to investigate the cause of the explosion because they now think that a bag at the restaurant exploded.
Senior representatives from various departments, including Karnataka DGP Alok Mohan and Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, have cordoned off the area for inspection.

The DGP stated that NIA and IB officials have also been notified. An eyewitness describes what happened.
A security guard at the cafe said to reporters, “I was standing outside the cafe.” The hotel was full of patrons. Customers inside the hotel were hurt when there was an abrupt loud noise and a fire started.”
“I was waiting outside the eatery for my turn when suddenly we heard a loud noise… an explosion,” stated Edison, another witness. Without knowing what it was, we became afraid. The restaurant was about 35 to 40 people deep. They all began to bolt.

Then they began to claim that a cylinder had exploded. However, we’re not exactly sure what transpired.”

Amruth, a neighboring private company employee, had just placed his order when he heard a massive explosion. “After placing my order, I was waiting outside the cafe when the explosion occurred. We estimated that four people were hurt. An ambulance and a fire engine arrived in no time. Teams of police were present. They began saving lives,” he remarked.

Bomb squad arrives at the explosion site

The explosion that happened at 1:30 pm today has prompted the bomb squad to arrive at the scene. The scene is being investigated by forensic teams and police officers from the HAL, Whitefield, and Indiranagar police stations.

“We were notified of a cylinder explosion at the Rameshwaram cafe via phone. A fire engine was dispatched to the scene right away. At first, it appears to be a cylinder blast. Still, it’s being determined. There was only a small explosion, and the injured have been taken to the hospital. The incident took place from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. We are looking into it from every angle,” a police spokesperson told PTI.
“The fire department received a call about an LPG leakage fire in the cafe at 1:08 PM today. The fire department rules out gas leak as the source.” When our teams and officers arrived, there was no fire or flame at the scene. A bag was behind a woman who was seated with six other people. It’s unclear whose bag it was, he said. “My team of officers and I investigated the area,” the officer said, excluding the chance of a gas cylinder leak. However, there are no indications of a gas cylinder leak. We examined it. We also checked the other LPG gas cylinder in the kitchen, which was used for making tea and coffee, and found no leaks. Our initial investigation revealed no evidence of gas leakage from any cylinders at the location.”
