What is cinnamon

Certain types of trees are used to make cinnamon, a spice. For thousands of years, extracts from the leaves, flowers, fruits, bark, and roots of the cinnamon tree have been used in traditional medicine. It is used in baking and cooking, and added to many different foods.

Different Cinnamon Types
