We enjoy spending time with our families, entertaining friends, and raising kids in our homes. Our lives are spent primarily at home and it should be proper Clean and Tidy Living Space. They should receive proper care because they are the most important occupants of our earthly homes. As Christians, we know that Heaven is our permanent home, but by providing a lovely and secure sanctuary for our families here on Earth, we get to reflect the comfort and beauty of Heaven.

I place a lot of importance on keeping my house tidy and lovely for my family. In my five years of being a stay-at-home mom, I have learnt a lot, even though I still have room for improvement. Since I understand that not everyone has this natural talent (including myself), I’ve included some advice on how to keep your home tidy and attractive in today’s piece. I’ve “mastered” some of these tips, but I’m still working on incorporating others more frequently into my life. In any case, I hope these pointers can support and motivate you in your endeavor to keep your house tidy and lovely!

  • First, get your bed made. Making your bed early in the morning is closely linked to a successful and well-organized existence; it’s also the motto of success. Making your bed is the ideal way to begin the day. To maintain a tidy and inviting appearance in your room, replace the bed linens once a week. If you are not replacing your bed linens, you should also clean your bed with a bed cleaner. They assist in clearing the bed of dust and other undesirable particles.
  • Organize your closet and room. Seeing objects out of position every morning is a nightmare. Invest in a multi-pocketed room organizer to avoid all of that. You could store everything you need and still be able to recall where it is. You can arrange these or throw away everything you don’t need. If you arrange them, you can save space. Cubes for storage can be utilized in any space. Thus, get them and arrange everything in your space.
  • Give the floor a vacuum Vacuuming the house is the simplest and most gratifying element of house cleaning. Purchase a high-quality vacuum cleaner and thoroughly clean your home. Additionally, vacuum cleaners eliminate dust from floor corners, sofas, and ottomans.
With a 370 W suction force, this cleaner is incredibly easy to clean. It reaches the most difficult and distant parts of the space. For cleaner air, an EPA 10 filter and a two-year warranty are included.
  • Maintain a Cleaning Schedule: Having regular (but adaptable!) cleaning habits is essential to maintaining a clean home! It’s easier to set cleaning on autopilot and avoid wondering what to do next when you know what has to be cleaned and when. You may read my previous post regarding cleaning schedules here. As of right moment, my cleaning regimen consists of the following:
Monday: Tidy up the house after Sunday and clean both bathrooms.
Tuesday: Do all laundry—wash, dry, fold, and store.
Wednesday: Spot clean the kitchen floor, sweep the upstairs and downstairs, and dust every surface as needed.
Thursday: Clean the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom (a task that is rarely completed).
Friday: Trash the house if necessary
  • After each and every meal, wash the dishes: Dishes can accumulate very rapidly. The secret to staying on top of things is to wash or load the dishwasher as soon as you finish a meal. You won’t have to worry as much about your kitchen becoming overrun by dirty dishes if you incorporate it into your mealtime routine. Add extra time to wash dishes if you cook a lot during the day, or save them for the next “after meal” dishwashing.
  • Put Dysfunctional Areas in Order: Is there an area of your house that is disorganized and making you crazy? If so, you’re not by yourself! I possess multiple!

I’ve been attempting over the last few months to take on one chaotic room at a time and transform it into a well-organized and useful area in its place! A couple cheap bins and separators from Walmart or the Dollar Store work wonders! These are some locations I’ve lately visited:
The kitchen’s “random” drawer is actually the “junk” drawer, but I have a few of those elsewhere! I keep things I use frequently in this random kitchen drawer that isn’t close to my main storage space, such labels, coupons, chalk for my menu board, and my homemaking notebook. I cleared my desk first. Second, I purchased some inexpensive drawer organizers from Walmart, and finally, I arranged everything such that it still looks useful and makes sense to me! Much improved.

  • Decorate Your House with Items You Love

It’s quite simple to follow the newest decorating fad or attempt to replicate what you see on Pinterest or in other people’s houses. But it’s crucial to keep in mind that this is YOUR house. Even if they aren’t in style right now, fill and decorate it with items that YOU adore.
