When Rinku was in need of employment, his brother brought him to a location where he was asked to work as a sweeper. Upon returning home, he informed his mother that he would prefer to concentrate on cricket over such jobs.
He was on the verge of becoming a sweeper, but he persevered because he wanted to succeed in cricket. All of the money he made from playing cricket was used to settle loans his family had taken out from different sources. He declared, “I will contribute to my elder brother’s wedding, save some for my sister’s wedding,” after landing an IPL contract in 2018. And my family and I will relocate to a nice home.”

“Your father isn’t providing for you, so why don’t you get a job?” my mother used to say to me. I considered applying for a job at a nearby coaching center to help support my family. I went wearing a shirt and pants because I thought I would get a good job. However, I received an offer to sweep. They said that if you come and sweep early in the morning, nobody will find out that you are doing this. That didn’t sit well with me, so I decided to turn my attention to cricket and left. My efforts have paid off because I worked very hard.
His cricket journey:
He played in the 2012 DPS Aligarh Cricket World Cup, despite his father’s opposition and the fact that he used to beat him with a stick to get him to quit playing. Teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka participated in the tournament; he finished with 354 runs and 8 wickets. His parents were present at the tournament in Delhi, where he excelled and won the Man-of-the-Series award along with a Motor Bike. His father became his staunchest advocate and never discouraged him from playing cricket after this accomplishment.
